We have been learning about landforms and bodies of water in class. Let's make a connection to the real world! Tell us about a favorite place that you have visited. What kind of landforms or bodies of water did you see?
If you are a visitor to our blog, tell us where you live and the landforms and bodies of water that you see where you live.
A favorite place that I have visited is Kauai. It is a Hawaiian island. The ocean was a beautiful sight. I also loved the tall cliffs and waterfalls!
ReplyDeleteI live in flat plains that do not have natural lakes. We do have something called playa lakes. They may be dry for years, but if we have a big rain, they fill up. We call them lakes even when they are dry. That is confusing to a newcomer.
