Favorite Places

We have been learning about landforms and bodies of water in class. Let's make a connection to the real world! Tell us about a favorite place that you have visited. What kind of landforms or bodies of water did you see?
If you are a visitor to our blog, tell us where you live and the landforms and bodies of water that you see where you live.

  1. A favorite place that I have visited is Kauai. It is a Hawaiian island. The ocean was a beautiful sight. I also loved the tall cliffs and waterfalls!

  2. I live in flat plains that do not have natural lakes. We do have something called playa lakes. They may be dry for years, but if we have a big rain, they fill up. We call them lakes even when they are dry. That is confusing to a newcomer.

this is Max from Scottsdale, AZ.
We live in the desert with no water around us. We have really tall mountains with lots of cacti. The Grand Canyon is 4 hours away.
    I miss you. Big hug,
