Research on the United States of America
Editor: George Washington was the first president. He is on the dollar bill.



















Editor: Nothing happened bad until George Washington was eleven. That's when is father died.
His brother taught George Washington how to hunt and shoot. He was in battles.
He became the first president.




















Editor: The president works in the Oval Office.


Editor: Air Force One is kept in Andrews Air Force Base. Air Force One weighs 833,000 pounds when it's full. There are two of Air Force One. Only when the president gets on, they call it Air Force One. When the president goes somewhere, he takes Air Force One, and they bring a different jet that brings the president's limousine in the jet.
Editor: The plane weighs 833,000 pounds with all fuel inside. 

Editor: Bald eagle likes catfish.


































Editor: Bald eagles do loops and turns when they fly.



Editor: It took 14 years to blast and chisel Mount Rushmore. Borglum was the artist.
Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt are the presidents.
The people used dynamite to blast Mount Rushmore.
Mount Rushmore was built on the Black Hills in South Dakota.

Editor: Borglum was the artist. Mount Rushmore is in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Editor: After the Liberty Bell was rung two times, it was cracked.
On 1752, it was rung.

Editor: The Statue of Liberty is in New York City.
The Statue of Liberty is one of the tallest statues.
The Statue of Liberty was made in France.
People visit the Statue of Liberty each year.



Editor: The Statue of Liberty was made in France.


Editor: North Americans came from Asia.
North Americans' homes were dirt.
People did not stay in the North.

 
Editor: The first people were from Asia.
They came here to hunt.
